LOVE RABBIT | #Sonnet

Hopping about,
Jump here and there,
To the top mount,
Living without a care,
I am happy,
I love to smile,
My hair nappy,
Ran a marathon love mile,
It’s called bunny love,
For I found my mate,
We share hours of hugs,
All night long and all day,
We go to the park for kisses,
Forever we will stay and best wishes.

I RATHER THIS THAN THAT | #POETRY #NOOBPROOFAPRIL

Failing hard to no prevail,
Why do things have to be this way,
I rather be beyond rich,
But I got a mailbox full of bills,
Tucked under my bed,
Because mouths have to be fed,
I guess it’s either be free to roam,
Or be locked up in jail,
Why do caged birds sing?
Because you can hear them through these bars,
I rather fly away,
Than be dragged down,
No way to escape,
I have to go hard,
If love was so simple and special,
Why is it so hard to obtained,
It’s a pain,
But life is definitely this way,
So I rather have this,
Because I need it,
And not having that,
Because I don’t want it.

Not with my knee on their heads,
I won’t let up,
You are going to listen to me,
I am cool with the wordplay,
Just a little,
Flipped my rhyme scheme,
Just a little,
Bits by bits,
I break them down,
I guess they know now,
What goes down,
When I am in town.

Trying to pull off of the perfect prank,
I am about to get someone’s booty spanked,
At the bar sitting, waiting on a drank,
Wondering after tonight,
How much money will be left in the bank,
I am going to ball out,
I am going to roll the dice,
Crap,
I am going to bet my life,
Or just my chain with all this ice,
I am going to get someone good today,
It’s April Fools Day,
Gotcha,
Not really,
Where is my wallet?
I guess the jokes are on me…
