OPEN MIC MONDAY – MIND OVER MATTER | #OPENMIC

Young snapper in your mist,
I been like this since a little kid,
Whipping folks with my tales,
So tall and strong never had they fail,
So brave they would say when they see me,
I evolved from nothing to now be me,
I overcame the obstacles,
Awaken from the hospital,
Now that’s a blessing and a miracle,
Giving to the people,
The gift of words and inspiration,
Now that’s a wonderful occasion.

When the music hits,

There is nothing you can resist,

But be able to enjoy the sounds,

In your head it’s about to go down,

It’s time to dance,

It’s time for romance,

It’s time to groove,

Music is my mood.

NEVER-MIND

I was going to be your friend,

But changed my mind,

Never mind,

I will not act for you,

I am just going to be real,

Really put back by your mouth,

And how you clap your lips,

Twitch your eyes,

Raise your eye brows,

Then again,

Why does your facial expressions matter to me,

Never mind,

I am gone,

Clearly I wasted my time caring about nothing,

Never mind what I previously,

Good-Bye.
