I use to beat box,
In house away from street cops,
I use to feel locked,
Until I screamed rock,
I studied my craft,
Did all the math,
Created a path,
Made my own laugh,
Ha ha, ha ha, ha,
I am stirring up some new hits,
Invited my friends over and this one cutie,
To hear the beats I made,
Wishing for the day I get paid,
To make the system bang,
And everyone knows my name,
For I am crawling from the bottom,
Aiming way up to the top,
I am glad I had to faint,
To wake truly amazed,
And the work I put in,
My soul now kind of numb,
But the beat must go on,
So I hit the drum pad hard with my thumb.
